Why Elsa Chang Inspires Me


I find her cartoon based concept art bold and appealing. In her career she has worked as a freelance illustrator, visual development artist and as a character designer for top animation companies. Like the other artists I have picked Chang is artistically individual and independent, using her skills to work in preferred areas of the creative industry. Chang also takes full advantage of social networking to promote herself, being openly accessible to both the public domain and the professional circuit.

In my own working approach I believe that I keep my own personal style. Whilst pushing boundaries in art I have learned from artist such as Elsa Chang that it is acceptable to draw and create art that is to my own personal preferences. There are opportunities out there that require a strong sense of artist identity and imagination.
